The "Memories of Seven Lochs" website is a project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, developed on behalf of the Communities Past & Futures Society (CP&FS), a Scottish community research organisation. This platform serves as a hub for community engagement, offering resources and advice to organisations undertaking heritage and community wellbeing projects. The website also hosts the oral history project, “Memories of Seven Lochs,” which captures and shares the rich histories and experiences of local communities within the Seven Lochs Wetland Park area.
As the lead designer and developer, I was responsible for the full lifecycle of the website creation—from concept to deployment. I utilised HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, integrating Bootstrap 5 to ensure a responsive and user-friendly design. To facilitate easy content updates by the CP&FS team, I implemented the site on the Umbraco CMS platform.
In addition to the website, I redesigned the organisation's logo, aligning it with the website's earthy tones that reflect the natural beauty of the Seven Lochs area and the community's deep connection to their heritage.
